Helford Hero Challenge 2021

By travelling the distance of the Helford River and fundraising for our work, you’ll quite simply be helping us to continue making a difference to the lives of hundreds of local children each year. Funds raised will help us subsidise sailing and kayaking sessions for local primary and SEND schools, ensuing that no child is held back from joining in watersports alongside their classmates due to financial challenges.  Get the whole family involved, and walk, paddle, swim, sail, hop, crawl or stroll your way to making a real difference. Can you set yourself an extra challenge to raise £9.20 for every mile travelled? If you can, you’ll top an amazing £100 raised! This could cover the cost of 4 hours of valuable watersports session for a child with special educational needs and disabilities from a local school to spend time with our expert instructors on the Helford River.

Set up your own fundraising page at the link below, link it with your Strava app and get your friends, family, and workmates to sponsor each mile you travel and see what difference you can make for your local community.

Make sure you follow the latest Covid-19 guidance in your area, and keep safe whilst making a huge impact on the lives of young people in Cornwall.
