We teach over 800 children a year to sail. Help us to teach even more.

Invest in the future

Learning sailing and watersports gives children of ALL abilities independence and self-confidence, fostering leadership, team-working and decision-making skills for life.

These are valuable skills in the workplace and children are learning them with us from an early age.

From taking part in events to team away days, to payroll giving and volunteering, there are many ways in which your business can support the Children’s Sailing Trust.

Help us with Sponsorship

Our annual Interschools Regattas and Community Open Days – even boats and sails – are available for sponsorship.

Charity of the Year

Transform young lives by selecting Children’s Sailing Trust as your company’s charity of the year.

When you choose us as your charitable partner, your staff-led fundraising activities throughout the year will directly support our mission of making watersports accessible to all children across Cornwall. Since 1997, we’ve taught over 5,000 children to sail and, with your fundraising efforts, we can reach many more who would otherwise miss out. Your company’s fundraising events – from sponsored challenges and office bake sales to gala dinners and team competitions – will help fund our charitable sailing programs on the Helford River and at Trevassack Lake.

We can support your fundraising journey with materials, impact stories, and opportunities for your team to visit our site and see firsthand how their efforts change young lives. Our dedicated team can provide presentations to your staff, regular updates on how funds are being used, and recognition of your support across our communications channels.

By choosing CST as your charity of the year, your company will make a meaningful difference in developing children’s confidence, resilience, and life skills through the freedom of being on the water.

Corporate Volunteering

Make a meaningful impact at Trevassack Lake through our corporate volunteering program, where your team’s skills can directly enhance our accessible site.

Whether it’s for a day or a recurring commitment, we offer diverse ways for your company to contribute:

Follow the inspiring example of Pendennis, whose team transformed our site by insulating storage containers and improving our essential outdoor Changing Place facility.

Or PKF Francis Clark (pictured), whose staff rolled up their sleeves for painting, maintenance, and garden beautification projects.

We welcome skilled tradespeople, general helpers, and professionals alike – from carpentry and landscaping to IT support and administrative assistance. For those comfortable on the water, our Sailability program constantly seeks volunteers to support accessible sailing sessions for people with disabilities. These volunteering days not only strengthen your team bonds through purposeful activity but also provide your employees with the satisfaction of seeing how their contributions directly improve our facilities for children and visitors of all abilities.

Together, we can ensure Trevassack Lake continues to be a place where everyone can experience the joy and freedom of watersports.

We can help you!
