The weather

Porth Saxon Beach, Mawnan Smith TR11 5HX
What3words: ///punters.suppers.eyepieces
While Porth Saxon Beach may be slightly off the beaten path, its seclusion adds to its appeal.
Visitors can park their vehicles either at Mawnan Old Church, Bosveal National Trust Car Park above Durgan Village, or on Carwinion Road in Mawnan Smith Village, and embark on a scenic walk to the beach. The cricket club have kindly let us use their field for parking, also.
Boat transfers:
NOTICE:
In light of the Yellow weather warning, we cannot put boats on the water therefore we assume the ferries will not be operating. Please park north side and walk as per the routes on the map.
Boat transfers from Helford Passage and Helford Village are also available, with many thanks to Helford River Boats who will be using their Sea Truck landing craft allowing almost step-free embarkation.
Should you wish to arrive via your own boat, please drop your anchor away from the Regatta area and hail one of our dinghies to give you a lift to shore.
Parking:
- Mawnan Old Church
- Bosveal NT Car Park above Durgan Village
- Carwinion Road in Mawnan Smith Village
- Carwinion Cricket Club car park – the field is closed due to water-logging
