Where to Sail with CST
Sailing on the river
The Helford River is situated in West Cornwall in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with Falmouth to the north, and The Lizard Peninsula to the south.
The main meeting point for our operations on the Helford River is Ursula’s Boathouse, Helford Passage, TR11 5LB
We can pick students up from this main base (North side of the river) or from the South side.
Please see below for more information on locations and directions.

Pick Up Points
The two red stars indicate our main pick up points on the North/South side of Helford River.
On the North side, Ursula’s Boathouse is our main meeting point by the Ferryboat Inn.
On the South side, we meet by the pontoon outside the Helston River Sailing Club
Secondary Launch Points
The four red drop markers indicate our secondary launch points if, depending on tides and weather, we prefer not to leave from the pick up points.
Additional Launch Points
The four red boats indicate all the other points along the river that we can make use of for stop offs or drop offs, beach activities or time outs.
Watersports on the lake
We have a wide variety of commercial and subsidised activities on offer at both our locations. With every commercial watersports session or course booked, you’ll be helping create opportunities for local young people to get out on the water too, who wouldn’t otherwise get the chance.
