spend time on the water with friends!
Youth Clubs
Alongside our structured courses, we offer young people aged 8-16 the opportunity to get out on the water without the formality of a set syllabus. These 5 week terms are offered from Easter through to the Autumn, and encourage youths to further build their confidence and skills whilst spending time with friends.
Youth Club Options

Volunteers Needed
Both clubs are led by a CST Instructor, however volunteer support is very much needed to enable us to increase the number of participants we can safely accommodate. We strongly encourage parents and CST supporters to be actively involved in these sessions. Roles include:
- Powerboat helms (qualified)
- Powerboat crews (unqualified)
- Beach master (unqualified)
- Beach support (unqualified)
- Assistant Instructor(s) (qualified)
We provide training for all roles. Each role comes with specific responsibilities and is supported by the session’s qualified CST Instructor. For those that can help for a minimum number of volunteer duties, we offer significantly discounted RYA Powerboat Level 2 and RYA Assistant Dinghy Instructor courses.
Please contact us to discuss these roles and training opportunities further on 01326 702326 or email hello@childrenssailingtrust.org.uk
